提供一些讀經和反省，供他及大家參考。

1.My brother, I know that you are having a hard time in seeking your vocation and loving you mother. Read the following slowly and pray.

2. Read Matthew 6:24.
Money: means your will, your richness, your idea, even your planning...
Therefore,my friend, you must give up your will, yourself, your planning, everything ...and love God only and follow his will only.
08-09 is an important year for you to empty your heart and clear your will, so that you may seek God's will only. Please empty yourself and follow God's will.

3.Read Matthew 8:18-27
Do not fear. God will help you. Pray to him and ask him to give you strength and peace.
Trust Fr. L. He will help you. I will help you too. God helps you always.

4. Read Matthew 10: 35-39; 12:46-50
The Gospel tells us to love God and follow his will first, and with the same love from God, we love our family. God is Love.
My friend, we must follow Jesus only.
You have to learn how you can love your mother. You must love her as God loves you. Although she may not know God, God loves her. It is your job to bring her to know God's love.

You should NOT bring her AWAY from God's love and his will.
You should NOT follow your mother's will and do not follow God's will.
If you do not follow God 's will, how can you love your mother with God's love. You will hurt her life and her soul.You will not be happy and you will not have peace.

Tell your mother you choose God's will and his love, but you love her also with God's love.
Tell her you choose HK diocese, because you choose to stay in Hong Kong to take care of her. This shows already you are her son forever and you love her forever.

But you must go on your way and follow God's will. You are a MAN and you should have your own way of life. If you do not follow God's will, you will not be happy and you cannot love her with God's true love...Tell your mother that God calls you to love.

You must fix your time to have dinner with your mother and accompany her. Make she understand by your action. Make clear to her that you love her as God loves you. You love her with God's love.

Do not talk too much if she does not understand, because it will hurt her feeling and does not help anything. Sometimes, silence helps to cure.
Pray for your mother. Ask Mother Mary to help your beloved mother and you.

Take good examples from Fr. Kwok, Fr. Lam Fr. Liu....and even myself. We all have this experience.

5. Read Matthew 19:5
My friend, you are an adult and you are a MAN.
If you are a priest, your wife is the Church and God's people.
If you get marry to a girl, you must not attach to your mother anymore. However, you must love her and take care of her in a new and mature way.

Every mother must learn. My mother, your mother, all must learn how to live and love their children without controlling them, especially if their children are married. Mother may give advice to her son, but must not control her son. Love gives people freedom.

My friend you must learn how to be a MAN. You must be strong and tough. You must stand on your own foot. You must choose your way of life and take up your responsibility, and follow God's will.

You should say YES when you mean YES, and say NO clearly when you mean NO. Do not let people dream of other things.

It is good, that you do as the authority tells you, but you must think and must have reasons. My friend, you are a mature man and you must use your reasoning. Do not do as a person without reasoning and follow the authority blindly.

Your mother may be angry and your family may try to control you. But you must be strong and gentle. Say it clearly with reasons and express that you will take good care of yourself. You are a MAN now and not a child. You should take up your own responsibility.

Do not argue with your family. Shut up. Go on your way and follow God's will. Indeed you must have dinner with your mother and accompany her as you fix with her. Show her your love.

My friend, you must have a healthy and regular life, so that you can convince your family

6. I think you need a more intense spiritual life. I advise you to attend daily Mass, as far as you can. So that you may offer yourself with Christ and follow him more closely.
Indeed, you have to say your daily prayers and read the daily readings as usual. Say the Rosary and visit the Blessed Sacrament everyday. Remember, our love and strength come from God.
I hope Fr. L will teach you more.
